What is GSCO
A program supported by JST and implemented by Okayama University to promote :- Exposure of High-School students to International research – Western countries
GSCO offers:
– Science Lectures
– Specific training to English practises
– VC (Virtual Classroom) programs with foreign students:
VC is a 6 month internet exchange program in English to prepare the Japanese High-school students to intense international exchanges when they ‘ll visit abroad.
– International supervisors: France, Canada, UK
– Visits abroad (10 days – 2 sites) including:
-
- International research Practicals: 1 day in Clean rooms, Synchrotron radiation facilities, Green Chemistry labs….
- Cultural exchanges via strong interaction with International High-Schools
